BRUNSWICK, OH (WOIO) -

An adult man drowned in the lake behind the Brunswick Giant Eagle on Center Road.

The swimmer was last seen around 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

Brunswick Firefighters say a witness saw the man jump and he immediately called 911.

When firefighters arrived at the lake, there was no visible evidence of the swimmer, so they called for the dive team.

Divers found the victim's body a short time later.

He has been id'd and his family has been notified, but officials are not releasing the name yet.

Swimming is not allowed in that lake.
