Mentor man busted for manufacturing Ecstasy

MENTOR, OH (WOIO) -

On Wednesday, July 3, 2013, law enforcement officers from the Lake County Narcotics Agency, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the Mentor Police Department executed a search warrant at the Fairfax Manor Apartment Complex in the 7900 block of Mentor Avenue in the City of Mentor. 

Agents arrested Anthony E. Roncalli, a 22-year-old resident, following an investigation into the illegal manufacturing of drugs.  The search warrant was executed without incident and once inside the apartment, agents located and seized approximately 40 grams of suspected MDMA, popularly known as Ecstasy, a synthetic psychoactive drug. 

Agents also seized a commercial pill press, miscellaneous chemicals and an assault rifle along with hundreds of rounds of ammunition. 

Multiple felony charges are pending including Aggravated Possession of Drugs and Tampering with Evidence. 

This matter remains under investigation by the Lake County Narcotics Agency, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Lake County Crime Lab.
