Three shot in robbery outside of a party

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Cleveland Police are investigating after three people were shot outside a bar waiting to get into a party.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. on E. 116th outside of Miss Martha's Bar.

The victims told police that they were in line waiting to pay to get into a party when they were approached by two males.

One of the men pulled out a gun and they robbed the victims of an unknown amount of money and a cell phone.

As the suspects left, they fired several shots at the victims before fleeing east through the parking lot towards E. 117th.

Michael Patterson, 25 was shot in his knee, Stephen Philpott, 26 was shot in his arm, and Lee Foster Jr, 33 was shot in the leg.

All three were taken to University Hospital by private auto.

The suspects were only described as black males in their early 20s.
