CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

We've now seen rain for 15 consecutive days -- that's the longest stretch of rain during the summer since 1900.

If it seems like deja vu all over again it is.

It was pouring around 6:30 PM along 480.  That downpour coincided with a flash flood warning for the Cleveland area.

And things were messy in quite a few places. Cars navigating flooding on streets. The wave of rain Tuesday evening was quick and intense and left its mark and that included local baseball fields.

Some disappointed little leaguers were hanging out near a field in Parma after their game was called off again.

"It's happened a lot. They actually played in the rain last night. We're going to have some make up games at the end of the season.  It's summer. It's Cleveland," said Becky Breckel.

There's a good chance we'll see some rain on Wednesday. So the streak could extend to 16 days.
