Stuff the ZooBus with Shoes and Clothes for Kids

Posted: Updated:
CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

On the Ticket Plaza at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, community members and corporate partners will help SC4K Stuff the Bus for Cleveland's kids with new school supplies, new clothing and new shoes to help Greater Cleveland's children in need prepare for the school year.

The event will be held on Wednesday, July 10.  Donations will be accepted from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Items collected during the 7th annual Stuff the Bus campaign, sponsored by Dominion, are distributed through the SC4K's distribution network of 35 partner agencies to ensure that Greater Cleveland children return to school with what they need to succeed.

Shoes and Clothes for Kids is proud to partner with the Cleveland Zoological Society and corporate partners throughout the region to make this event possible. SC4K is hosting Stuff the Bus in conjunction with ZooFriends' Night, a private donor event being held by the Cleveland Zoological Society at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.

In 2013, SC4K will "stuff" the ZooBus, which brings almost 20,000 students to Cleveland Metroparks Zoo each year for a day of informal science learning and fun. The ZooBus program is made possible through the generosity of Zoo Society donors, including Dominion.
