Freedom Center hosts clinic in fight against human trafficking

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The National Underground Freedom Center hosted a clinic Wednesday in the fight against human trafficking.

The legal departments from LexisNexis and Procter & Gamble joined Dinsmore & Shohl to co-sponsored a legal clinic for non-profit organizations called the 'Anti-Human Trafficking Non-Profit Clinic'.

Organizers say most non-profits in this category are small organizations without regular access to legal counsel. The goal was to connect non-profits with local lawyers who want to contribute their skills, so they can better work together on human trafficking issues.

Wednesday's event helped pair them with local resources they need to be more successful in their cause.
