Man arrested for drug trafficking, after woman's death

SUMMIT COUNTY, OH (WOIO) -

On July 8, 2013 at approximately 2 p.m., the Summit County Sheriff's Office and the Coventry Fire Department responded to a home on Judy Ave. in Akron, for an unresponsive female.

Ms. Kelley J. Harrington was found with no life signs. She was transported to the Akron General Medical Center.

While conducting an investigation, Joseph T. Morgan admitted to supplying Ms. Harrington a control substance prior to her death. The Sheriff's Office obtained a search warrant for Joseph Morgan's residence in the 1900 block of 9th Street in Akron.

As a result of the search warrant; twenty one firearms, an undetermined amount of marijuana, other controlled substance's and approximately $110,000.00 in cash were located.

Joseph T. Morgan was arrested for trafficking in drugs. He was transported to the Summit County Jail. This case is currently still under investigation.
