Barberton is still under water, days after severe weather

Posted: Updated:
BARBERTON, OH (WOIO) -

This week's floods continue to devastate homes, streets and businesses.

19 Action News traveled to Barberton to see how bad the flooding continues to affect the area.

Locals say they "never seen it look like this" and had trouble just driving around side streets.

A large river stretching almost a mile from the new high school to I-76 is still knee-high on meteorologist Jon Loufman.  He even found a sign someone posted reading: "Free Water Ski Show."

Rain fell in Barberton at an inch an hour and the floods have yet to recede.
