Former Cleveland Browns General Manager Tom Heckert was placed on a one month unpaid suspension by his current employer the Denver Broncos Monday. Heckert and fellow Broncos executive Matt Russell were arrested earlier this month for driving under the influence.
Russell was also placed on suspension indefinitely without pay by Executive Vice President of Football Operations, John Elway.
Both punishments fall in line with what the Broncos promised would be "sever penalties" for the two executives incident.
