When the Browns begin training camp this Thursday in Berea, they will have all their rookies on the field, including their first round pick Barkevious Mingo. The sixth overall pick signed a four-year contract early Sunday morning worth a reported $16 million. The deal gives the team an option on a fifth year.
The two sides had argued over something called "offset language," which is the amount of money guaranteed if for the player if he would be cut down the road. In the end, the Browns got the language included in the deal, but has to fork over the entire $10 million signing bonus before the season ends.
