Power line pole falls on car at Ford Street in Maumee

MAUMEE, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A power line pole fell on top of a car in Maumee on Ford Street, closing the road from West Dussel Drive to Illinois Avenue.

According to Maumee police dispatch, more than 100 Toledo Edison customers lost power. According to the Toledo Edison website, power has mostly been restored.

The car has been removed, but power lines are still down in the area. Drivers should use Contact Street as an alternate route until the road reopens.
