CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

A man has been indicted on 15 charges for a violent home invasion of an elderly couple on Cleveland's west side.

Ronald Ellis, Jr. has been indicted on charges including attempted murder, kidnapping, aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery, felony assault, theft, grand theft and misuse of a credit card.

Last month, armed men broke into a home on Cleveland's west side and attacked an elderly couple. An 82-year-old man was beaten, and his 80-year-old wife was duct taped and stuffed inside the truck of a car. She was later found on the city's east side and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Police say the suspects tried to use the couple's credit cards.

Police also arrested a juvenile with this Ellis. That case is moving through juvenile court, but it is likely to be moved to adult court as well.
