Man shot in head, CPD search for suspects in red minivan

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Cleveland Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 27 year old black male.

Tuesday, at approximately 6:15 p.m., received a call for a male shot at 14225 Sylvia Avenue. When they arrived they located the victim with a gunshot wound to the head. He was  pronounced dead.

Witnesses say the victim was seated in his vehicle and talking to two males and during the conversation the victim was shot in the head.

After the shooting the two males fled the scene eastbound on Sylvia Avenue in a red minivan.

The victim's name has not been released. His official cause of death will be determined by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.
