Trial set for November 4 in murder of Putnam County brothers

PUTNAM COUNTY, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A Putnam County teen accused of murdering two brothers will face a jury on November 4.

On Thursday judge set the trial date and scheduled a pre-trial hearing for September 10 at 2 p.m.

Prosecutors say Fay killed Blake and Blaine Romes on May 9 before fleeing to Columbus in their mother's car.

Earlier this month a judge ruled that 17-year-old Michael Fay will be tried as an adult. Fay faces two counts of aggravated murder, abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence, and grand theft auto.
