Suspect flees after high-speed chase Thursday morning

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Police are searching for a driver who led authorities on a high-speed car chase early Thursday morning.

A Hamilton County Deputy Sheriff attempted to stop a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant at the corner of Ridge Road and Madison Road around 2:04 a.m.

Officers say the driver of the vehicle refused to stop so a chase begun. Officers say the chase reached speeds of 80 miles-per-hour.

The vehicle struck a building at the 3000 block of Madison Road and struck a second building before coming to a stop.

Police say the driver left the vehicle and fled on foot. Officers attempted to search for the driver but were unsuccessful so the suspect is still at large.
