Berea, OH (WOIO) - Trent Richardson continues to dazzle at Browns camp. Finally healthy, and ready to carry the load, the second-year back had a little extra inspiration on Wednesday: his friend, Hall of Fame running back Marshall Faulk, who was in town to do a feature on Trent for NFL Network.
Asked what Faulk had in his playing days that Trent wants to emulate, Richardson said "Super Bowl. Super Bowl. That's what we're all out here working for every day. And, he was a three-down back. I want to be a back like that, who never leaves the field. I told coach I'd play special-teams if they'd let me."
That's obviously not going to happen, but Richardson, who gained 950 yards with 11 touchdowns in his rookie season, despite battling various injuries, is going to see plenty of action in 2013.
