COPLEY, OH (WOIO) -

The flames are out and the black smoke that filled the sky is gone but not before some scary moments for employees of the Yellow Roadway Trucking Company.

Several trucks were ablaze and one was described as virtually melted to the ground.  A truck carrying 4 vats of a chemical, some kind of ether somehow caught fire this morning just after 9 a.m.

An employee told 19 Action News Reporter Paul Orlousky that he saw a large yellow fireball and everyone ran for cover.

One worker was treated for what we are told are minor facial burns.  For a time, smoke blew toward a day care center, the children were moved to the Copley High School for safety.

In all, evacuations were for about a half mile radius of the fire.  The fire has been allowed to simply burn itself out.
