(Eastlake, OH) – Lake County scored four times in the bottom of the second inning and beat Bowling Green 6-3 on Sunday afternoon. In the second inning, Jeremy Lucas doubled and the bases were then loaded when Leo Castillo walked and Zack MacPhee hit an infield single. Yhoxian Medina walked and Lucas scored. LeVon Washington was hit-by-a-pitch and Castillo scored. Dorssys Paulino doubled to left field and MacPhee and Medina both scored and the Captains led 4-0.
The Captains will be back in action on Monday Afternoon in Eastlake, OH to take on the Bowling Green Hot Rods in game three of the series. The Captains will start RHP Robbie Aviles (3-3, 3.78) and the Hot Rods will counter with LHP Kevin Brandt (0-0, 0.00). First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 PM at Classic Park.
