The NFL and the NFL Players Association have taken another step closer toward human growth hormone testing, (HGH). The NFLPA has now signed off on a protocol for a HGH population study among players.
The hopes are for the study to commence at the start of the 2013 season. Tops on the list for the NFLPA are a confidential and independent study.
The blood drawn for the population study will only be used to determine the basic levels of HGH in players.
Players can not be punished in the future for results of the donated samples given during the study.
