KIRTLAND, OH (WOIO) -

Kirtland Fire and Willoughby police rescued a man who fell down a 60 foot cliff in the Chapin Forest Reservation Wednesday night.

The incident happened at 8 p.m.

Authorities say the 18-year-old man and his friends were climbing hills in a restricted area of the park when the man fell off a 60 foot cliff, and landed on a ledge.

Rescue crews used a rope to save the man, and rushed him to Hillcrest hospital where he was treated for neck and back injuries.
