Shot fired during Richmond Heights bank robbery

RICHMOND HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) -

Police in Richmond Heights and the Cleveland FBI are searching for two bank robbers.

The armed heist happened shortly after 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Huntington Bank on Wilson Mills Road. 

The first suspect, described as approximately 5'7" and about 160 pounds, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with a red bandanna covering his face, carrying a black bag and a black handgun, entered the bank and approached the teller counter.

The second suspect, described as 25-35 years old, thin build, skinny, light complexion, and wearing a black hoodie with a black bandanna covering his face, stayed at the doorway of the bank.

One shot was fired during the bank robbery, but no one was hit by the round and there were no reported injuries.

Both suspects fled the bank on foot, traveling east on Wilson Mills Road.
