CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Many fans at Thursday night's game did not know there are new restrictions about what you can take into the stadium but they know now.

Hundreds of fans flocked to the stadium for game two of the pre-season.

19 Action News went to see if more people are aware of the policy in week two compared to week one.

"I'm a little upset because I didn't know that we weren't allowed to bring a purse in and this is a Coach purse," exclaimed one Browns fan. "I did not know about the policy."

"They told me this is too big," stated another Browns fan.

The NFL's new bag policy restricts what you can bring into the stadium.  Many women had to empty their purses and put everything in a large plastic bag.

"We've come to the game and I didn't know so I had to put everything in this bag. Everything in this bag," said a fan.

The alternative: throw the purse away, leave it outside or take it back to your car.

"We're parked by the casino so I don't think I'm going to the game," a disappointed fan said.

"It's the purse or the game," asked Reporter George Smith.

"Yea. Well, the purse," answered the fan.

Some fans are aware of the new rules.

"I already knew about the bag policy," said a fan.

According to the Browns -- they did not collect any bags last week.  We'll see what the numbers are after Thursday night's game.
