Former corrections officer charged with assaulting an inmate

LORAIN COUNTY, OH (WOIO) -

A former Lorain County corrections officer has been charged with assaulting an inmate.

The Attorney General says on July 29, Marlon Taylor, 47, struck an inmate repeatedly, causing bodily harm.

If convicted, the jail guard could receive up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
