CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH (WOIO) -

19 Action News Reporter Paul Orlousky has learned that former Cuyahoga County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora has been transferred from federal prison to the Cuyahoga County Jail.  He is housed in Jail 1, the older of the two downtown jails.

The floor is one that features administrative segregation cells used to keep high profile inmates apart from the general population.  He would not have a cell mate on such a floor.

Dimora is said to have lost much weight, possibly 80 to 100 pounds, and is wearing a full beard.

Speculation is that Dimora is here because he will be arraigned sometime next week on county charges.

County Prosecutor Tim McGinty has said he will review the conduct of many of those federally charges to see if local laws were violated. A call to McGinty's office was not immediately returned.
