MASON, OH (FOX19) -

More than 19,000 pink floating Snoopy's have been splashed into the fountain at Kings Island Amusement Park over the past six weeks.

It was all a part of the fourth annual KI for the Cure campaign to raise money in the fight against breast cancer.

On Saturday night, one Snoopy was randomly selected from the fountain and the owner of that Snoopy, Erin Hounshell of Norwood, won a 2013 Honda Accord, courtesy of Kings and Performance Honda.

Hounshell's winning snoopy was selected by the Dave Lovin, husband of Tara Lovin, a breast cancer survivor.

Lovin is the coach of the Cincy Hope softball team which he says is all about raising awareness for breast cancer research.

"We founded Cincy Hope and we went around to three different states playing for breast cancer awareness and again we're going to continue to do this as long as we can," said Lovin.

The KI for the Cure campaign has raised approximately $710,000 since its inception in 2010, including $126000 this year.

Proceeds from the KI for the Cure campaign benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation Greater Cincinnati.
