CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The man rescued from Euclid Beach State Park Saturday has died, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office.

The medical examiner has identified the man as 24-year-old Traveno Sledge.

On Saturday, August 24, Cleveland Metroparks divers and Fire Department divers responded to the emergency call to help locate two missing swimmers at approximately 4:35 p.m.

Divers pulled Sledge, and a child from the water.

The relationship between the male and the child has not been confirmed.

Sledge was taken to Euclid Hospital where he died.

The child was transported to Rainbow Babies and Children with an adult woman, possibly the mother of the child.
