AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

A renewed push to help find a 19-year-old girl missing from Akron.

Taylor Robinson, of East Archwood Avenue, was last seen on May 3 when she was dropped off at a residence in the 700 block of Kipling Avenue for her job as a home health care aide.

On Monday, private investigators and specially trained dogs were out searching the wooded area behind the SpringHill Apartments after receiving new case information in Robinson's disappearance.

19 Action News Reporter Lydia Esparra was with the search teams and says that around 1:30 p.m. Monday, the dogs picked up a scent in a wooded area and found some clothing.

Police say the clothing was from a nearby homeless camp and no remains were found.

Robinson is a black female, 5'03", 150 lbs, wearing a white shirt and gray pants. She had her hair in a ponytail and a white and black bandana around her head.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Taylor Robinson is asked to contact the Akron Police Department, Detective Bureau at 330-375-2490 or the Missing Person Unit at 330-375-2530.
