CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The family of a Cleveland Clinic fertility nurse brutally murdered in downtown Cleveland has raised the reward to $50K for the arrest of her killer.

"It's frustrating but we continue to hope.  We hope somebody will do the right thing and come forward," said Jennifer Sherman.

Aliza Sherman was stabbed 11 times in an attack outside of her attorney's office building near the intersection of East 12th and Hamilton Avenue on March 24.

Jennifer just announced her family and friends are rasing the reward they are offering to apprehend Aliza's killer. It was $25,000.

Cleveland Police have grainy security video of a person running away from the scene, but there have been no arrests.

"We all thought it was important to increase the reward in hopes that somebody will come forward," said Aliza's daughter, Jennifer Sherman. "We know that there's somebody out there that has information and we just hope they do the right thing and step forward."
