LYNDHURST, OH (WOIO) -

On Thursday, August 29th, two men were sentenced in Lyndhurst Municipal Court to six months in jail for stealing from numerous parked vehicles in Lyndhurst.

Jackson D. Black, 28, and Christopher A. Harding, 20, both of Warrensville Heights,  were convicted of theft and criminal trespass.

They targeted iPods, cell phones, a DVD player, tools, gift cards and loose change from unlocked cars parked in driveways.

Black and Harding were sentenced by Judge Mary Kaye Bozza to 180 days, with credit for the three days they have been in jail since they were arrested Thursday.

Black and Harding were found seen on Sunview Rd. when a resident observed someone rummaging through his car and called Lyndhurst Police.

Patrol officers located Harding walking nearby, and Black crouched down in his car.
