UPDATE: No criminal charges after Hamilton shoving incident

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -

Police in Hamilton say nothing criminal was happening after a be on the look out was sent out for a black pickup truck.

Officers were called to the 1400 block of Maple Avenue around 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday night after receiving reports of a situation in the area.

Authorities say that a man in a black truck was stopped at this location. Officers say that the man got out of his vehicle and approached a woman walking on the sidewalk. Police say the man grabbed the woman by the arm and forcefully walked her back to his truck.

According to police, the woman opened the door but the man pushed the door closed again. The man then entered his vehicle and drove eastbound on Maple Avenue.

Police say they located the truck, along with the parties that were involved in the incident and have discovered nothing criminal was happening.
