The suspect accused in a triple stabbing in Mayfield Heights has been indicted by the Cuyahoga County grand jury.

Matthew Cepik is accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend, her mother and another man. He's been  charged with aggravated burglary, three counts of attempted murder, six counts of felonious assault and tampering with evidence.

The attack happened on Labor Day. According to police, a person screaming for help from an apartment complex on Goldengate Boulevard call 911 around 5 a.m.

Police say after the stabbing, Cepik fled to Solon.

19 Action News learned he walked into traffic on US 422 in Solon and was struck by a box truck.

Cepik has been released from the hospital and is now locked up at the Cuyahoga County Justice Center.

He will be arraigned Monday.
