(WOIO)-- The Philadelphia 76ers are in a rebuilding stage and in need of a back-up point guard. According to reports, the Sixers are interested in signing point-guard Daniel Gibson. Gibson has spent his entire career with the Cleveland Cavilers and is now a free-agent.
Gibson has a great three point shot, which would be a great asset to have coming off the bench. He has averaged 7.8 points per game over his career. Michael Carter-Williams is expected to be the teams starting point guard. Getting Gibson for a one-year deal could be a logical move for Philly.
