DNA results expected in connection to missing Elaina case

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Toledo Police are expected to release the DNA results in connection to the disappearance of east Toledo toddler Elaina Steinfurth.

Police say they will release the findings today after discussing the results with the Steinfurth family and the Prosecutor's Office.

A box of human remains was taking from a nearby garage at 704 Federal Street, the home of Steven King and Elaina's mother's ex-boyfriend.

Elaina's mother, Angela Steinfurth, and King are both in jail on obstruction of justice charges.
