DEARBORN COUNTY, IN (FOX19) -

Five people have been charged in connection with a meth lab found at a home in southeastern Indiana.

Authorities say Randy Sewell, 29, was seen driving a white Dodge on US 50 in Dearborn County last Sunday with two others, Norman Sewell and George Layton. Sewell was spotted by an off-duty detective who was aware that his license was previously suspended.

Sewell was stopped by police in Aurora and the car was towed due to no valid driver. Aurora Police later noticed items related to the manufacturing process of methamphetamine while taking inventory of the vehicle.

Authorities then conducted a search warrant at a home on Dutch Ridge Road in Rising Sun. More evidence of manufacturing meth was discovered and seized by the Indiana State Police.

Randy Sewell, in addition to Norman Sewell, 58, Joseph Igo, 36, George Layton, 57 and Stefen Stouffer, 51, have all been charged with dealing methamphetamine, conspiracy to commit dealing in methamphetamine.

They are all being held at the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center.
