1 dead, 2 injured in North Fairmount park shooting

NORTH FAIRMOUNT, OH (FOX19) -

One person was killed and two others injured after a shooting Monday evening at a park in North Fairmount.

It happened just after 6:30 p.m. at the North Fairmount Recreation Area, located near the 1700 block of Denham Street.

Upon arrival, police found 18-year-old Tyree Clark with a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. 

Two other victims were shot and transported to UC Medical Center. There has been no word on the extent of their injuries.

Authorities say a dispute began between two different groups of people at the park. Police are now investigating the shooting as a homicide.
