After a lengthy rain delay, Zach Johnson managed to finish strong and win the BMW Championship on Monday, burying two late birdie putts to edge out Nick Watney. Johnson finished 6-under on the day, shooting a 64.
The victory is Johnson's first of the season, and secures his spot as one of the top five seeds for the Tour Championship this upcoming week. The win also improves his chances in the Fed Ex Cup, which awards the winner a prize of $10 million dollars.
Jim Furyk's struggles continued, as his victory drought now extends to three years. He has not been able to capitalize the last six times he has had at least a share of the lead entering the final round.
Tiger Woods will the enter the Tour Championship as the number one seed, despite finishing tied for 11th in the BMW.
