CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Sentencing has been delayed for a pervert who trolled Craigslist looking for underage sex.

James Biss was to take a plea deal which outlined he would have to register as a Tier 3 Sex Offender. That means Biss would have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. Biss didn't want to do that, and will now talk over his options with his attorney.

His sentencing has been pushed back to Monday, September 23.

Between January 4, 2012, and April 27, 2012, Biss, 29, of Maple Heights, posted an ad on Craigslist titled "Into Taboo? Fetishes, Perverts?" An undercover Detective from Franklin County answered the ad posing as the father of fictitious 6- and 12-year-old females. Biss engaged in a series of email conversations stating that he wanted to "play together" and that he was interested in engaging in sexual acts with the fictitious children. Biss also sent child pornography to the undercover officer.

After tracing the IP address, a search warrant was executed at Biss' residence on April 27, 2012, by the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, and Biss was arrested.

An Android tablet, CD's/DVD's, a hard drive and an IPhone were among the items seized.

Biss pleaded guilty to pandering sexually oriented materials involving a minor and possessing criminal tools on August 8.
