IN KENT: Deceased male pulled from the Cuyahoga River is identified

KENT, OH (WOIO) -

The Portage County Coroner's Office has confirmed that the body of a black male that was pulled from the Cuyahoga River is 28-year-old Donte' Warren.

Warren was a Kent resident who was reported missing on September 16th.

The coroner's office says that his death is suspicious but that there are no signs of trauma.

Authorities also tell us that it appears that he has been in the water for a while.

Kent Police confirm that their department along with the Kent State Fire department responded to a call to retrieve a body from the Cuyahoga River.

Police say that hikers discovered the body and made the call at 12:22 p.m. on Saturday, September 21.
