Stolen car taken on joy ride, set fire in Toledo

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Toledo Police are working to identify the owner of a car found burning early Sunday morning in Toledo.

Police on the scene say the car was burning for about 15 minutes on Champlain Street before fire crews arrived to put out the flames.

Police say the car appeared to be stolen, and likely taken on a joy ride around the city before being abandoned and set ablaze.

No possible car thieves have been located.
