CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Finally on Seymour Avenue you can hear the church bells.

It's a sense of calm for a neighborhood that has experienced so much hurt. But, now there is a different feel.

"We're afraid that they are going to break our windows," Altagracias DeTejada.

Altagracias DeTejada says it all started when Charles Ramsey showed up here with a camera crew. DeTejada also added "they are going to do a video of what he supposedly did and we are not going to allow him to talk because he says the street is useless and trash."

Back in May when Amanda Berry first was freed from Ariel Castro's home, she and her neighbors assisted her. Charles Ramsey was there too. But it's still unclear what his role was.

Even so, he is given credit for helping Berry, Gina DeJesus and  Michelle Knight.  Causing friction between Ramsey and his onetime friends.

On Sunday, the situation escalated when a punch was  thrown at Javier Marti.  Altagracias, says Ramsey didn't hit anyone, but he also did nothing to try and stop it.

"Charles was laughing," she says. "Because he brought three friends to defend him."

The police report says one of those men assaulted Marti. But the scene had been cleared when they arrived. Ramsey's name does not show up on the report but  make no mistake says Altagracias, he was there and her neighbor was not aggressive at all.
