One dead, two injured in Hartwell shooting

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Cincinnati Police are investigating an overnight shooting in Hartwell that killed one and injured two others.

Police were called to the 8400 block of Anthony Wayne around 12:15 a.m. to search for a victim with a gunshot wound.  

Upon arrival, authorities found 26-year-old Jamar Ayers in the 8400 block of Dixie Avenue suffering a wound to the chest. Ayers was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Another man was shot in the groin and a woman was shot in the leg.  They are both expected to recover.
