The Cavaliers opened Training Camp on Tuesday. The team updated the media on three big name players that have been injured.
Anderson Varejao (blood clot) has been cleared for all basketball activities for the start of camp.
First overall draft pick Anthony Bennett has also been cleared. The rookie from UNLV had been coming back from a left shoulder injury that held him back during the draft process.
Andrew Bynum's status is still up in the air. He has been recovering from a right knee injury. The team said only- "Bynum continues to progress in his rehabilitation process. There is no timetable set for his return to full basketball contact and activity."
Bynum missed all of last year in Philadelphia with knee problems. He has not played since the 2011-2012 season with the Lakers.
