Washington Post: Dusty Baker interested in managing Nationals

As the Cincinnati Reds are searching for new management, former manager Dusty Baker is searching for new jobs.

According to Washington Post, Baker is interested in becoming the next manager for the Washington Nationals. According to the article, Baker's agent contacted the Nationals' General Manager Mike Rizzo to inform him he was interested in the job. The article claims that no interview has been scheduled.

Many applicants are applying to fill the void left by short term Washington manager Davey Johnson. Johnson became manager for the Nationals in June 2011. He announced his retirement from the Nationals in late September.
