BROOKLYN, OH (WOIO) -

A lawsuit has been filed over the deadly shooting rampage inside the Cracker Barrel restaurant in Brooklyn.

A man killed his wife and kids then police shot him.

Attorney Terry Gilbert has filed the suit against the restaurant chain on behalf of the brother of the woman who was killed. Among the reasons for the lawsuit Gilbert says "conscious disregard for safety."

In April of 2012, police say Kevin Allen shot and killed his wife Katie Allen and two daughters Kerri and Kayla. Brooklyn police then shot and killed Allen.
