Doubles Full Day Kindergarten and Offers Expanded Programs for School Age Children
ASHBURN, Va., Oct. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- With the goal of both meeting and exceeding the needs of Loudoun County families, BeanTree Learning is expanding its offerings to school-age children with the groundbreaking of a 25,000 square foot, state-of-the art facility adjacent to the current BeanTree Campus in Ashburn, Virginia, set to open in June 2014.
Called "BeanTree Learning at The Pavilion," the expanded campus will be completely dedicated to the needs of school-age children and will also offer two academically stimulating Kindergarten Programs: a Private, Full Day Kindergarten Program for 60 students and Half Day Kindergarten Enrichment Program for up to 65 students.
The new facility also expands BeanTree's exceptional educational offerings to 150 children through age 14 with before and after school care, tutoring, and creative summer camp programs. The school will be offering additional bus routes for before and after school students coming from many elementary schools throughout Loudoun County.
"This kind of facility has been anticipated by area families for years," Founder Jennifer Bower said. "In addition to the Full Day Kindergarten Program, the school will offer families welcomed enrichment activities for their Half Day Kindergarten children, and will serve as the area's headquarters for Before and After School and Summer Camp, making the BeanTree Pavilion an exciting hub for our school-age children."
The Before and After School Program will offer students through age 14 before school care beginning at 6:30 a.m. and after school care until 7:00 p.m., with access to all of the amenities offered in the new Pavilion, including a two-story, regulation sized basketball court and gymnasium, homework tutoring, art studio, outdoor activities, and a wireless technology lab.
BeanTree Learning at The Pavilion is opening in June of 2014 in time to offer an expanded, enriching Summer Camp Program with on-site, theme-based programs in robotics, computer programming, dance, basketball, art, theater, cooking, and more. "The Pavilion means we can offer exceptional specialty-themed camp programs right here on our expanded campus, giving parents and students further flexibility with their busy, and sometimes complicated, summer schedules. Of course, we will continue to offer our tremendously successful off-site field trips that will extend a child's world beyond the classroom," Bower said.
BeanTree Learning is considered Northern Virginia's premier school for early childhood education and has been offering an outstanding Private Kindergarten curriculum at its Ashburn and Chantilly, Virginia Campuses for many years, featuring accelerated academics, small classroom sizes with low student-teacher ratios, degreed educators, and specialty programs in foreign language, art, technology, and music. In addition, children receive an active indoor and outdoor fitness program, hot and catered breakfast and lunch, and snacks each day.
