SHARONVILLE, OH (FOX19) -

Two women were arrested Friday afternoon after reportedly trying to cash fake checks then leading officers on a pursuit down I-71.

Sharonville Police were called to Huntington Bank on Lebanon Road just before 4 p.m. in reference to a possible fraud/forgery report. A bank employee stated two females were in the drive-through attempting to cash two checks and "acting nervous."

Once police arrived at the bank, the women fled in a gray 2012 Chrysler headed northbound on State Route 42. The female driver refused to stop and continued onto southbound I-71. The pursuit eventually ended after the vehicle crashed at the 2.4 mile marker near Reading Road.

Both females were taken into custody, and no one was injured.

They are currently being held at the Sharonville Police Department. Authorities say the investigation is still ongoing and charges will be pursued for both suspects.
