Cooking competitions involving culinary students under the tutelage of some of the region's best-known chefs will be taking place at the Horseshoe Casino tonight.

The program will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Main Ballroom at Horseshoe Cincinnati with a welcome from emcees Marilyn Harris, a radio personality and author, and Chef Robert LaFond with the JTM Food Group.
