Posted: Updated:

In 2005, a tornado hit Vanderburgh and Warrick counties killing two dozen people.

On Wednesday, the National Weather Service will host a public forum on the 8th anniversary of the November 6 tornado.

The NWS will talk about the dangers of tornadoes that strike during the night and in cooler seasons.

The tornado landed around 2:00 a.m. and killed 25 people. Most of the victims were at the East Brook Mobile Home Park.

The meeting will take place at the Red Cross building in Evansville from 10:00 a.m. until noon on Wednesday.
