No passing the Bucks this time

Milwaukee (WOIO) - Kyrie Irving threw down a game-high 29 points, including 13 in the fourth quarter, but it still wasn't enough to help the Cavaliers complete their comeback on Wednesday night, as their rally fell short against the Bucks, 109-104 the final at the Bradley Center.

Irving's 3-pt'er pulled the Cavs within two with 1:38 remaining, and C.J. Miles' 3-pt shot put them up 104-103 with a minute remaining.  But Caron Butler's tip-in with :24 remaining put the Bucks back on top to stay.

Irving had a chance to regain the lead, but dribbled the ball off his foot and out of bounds with :14 remaining, and then missed a forced 3-pt shot to tie in the final seconds.

O.J. Mayo led the Bucks with 28 points.

The Cavaliers (2-3) head to Philadelphia to take on the 76'ers on Friday night.
