CLERMONT COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -

History was made Friday in Clermont County as it handled its first ever gang-related prosecution.

Raeshawn RT Wilson, Jr. was sentenced to 20 years in prison on 34 gang-related charges involving his leadership of the "Get-It-Quick Gang."

A division of the Bloods, the Get-It-Quick Gang first surfaced in April of 2012 in Union Township, Clermont County.

Wilson and three of his recruits were arrested after they allegedly robbed, beat, and held a man at gunpoint at the Piccadilly Apartments. This is also the apartment complex where police say the Get-It-Quick Gang was based.

All four were arrested shortly after the incident.

Three days later, the Clermont County Narcotics Unit served multiple search warrants, obtaining drugs, money, and eventually recovering a gun from a pond 20 miles away from the apartment complex.

As leader, police say Wilson recruited individuals to sell cocaine, heroin and marijuana to the complex and surrounding areas.

The group used intimidation, threats and violence to maintain its stronghold on the area.

During sentencing on Friday, Wilson apologized to the victim.

"I just want to apologize to the victim for everything that I've done. I just want to express my regret for what has happened. I'm not happy about what I have done. I am human, and I have made mistakes," he stated.

Other members have the gang have received similar indictments.
